Every parking lot within a half mile is made for trucks, but he choose the mud right there.

On second thought there’s no helping these fools. Get out while you still can!

Fun fact, I wrote “folks” but apparent autocorrect knows better. Lol.

Seriously. There is a construction crew 100 yards away. Would’ve taken a lot less time the hour and 15 minutes were currently at.

Does a backhoe have enough grunt to do that? I feel like it would have to be a dozer or front end loader.

Some of those truck driving schools hand out completion certificates like they’re toilet paper. “Oh, you’re check cleared. Pass”

Think so, it pulled those trucks out of the mud and they weighted between 75-80k lbs. I doubt that truck weights more because at that point you need an overweight permit.

My best friend used to drive long haul truck all over the US, teamed up with a driving partner. My friend always had do the driving in the northeast, because the partner hated the dense traffic.

One day they were navigating downtown Boston traffic and missed their turn. For those who have never experienced it, Boston is a particularly nasty place to drive, with clogged narrow roads that are basically paved-over cow-paths. Finding a place to turn around and get back to their destination was NOT going to be easy.

My friend began to slow down and edge over to the right side of the road, and his partner asked him what he was doing. His response was classic: “If I told you, you wouldn’t let me do it.”

He bumped up over the curb on to the empty sidewalk, cut the wheel hard to the left, drove up on the other sidewalk, and back onto the road. A straight up U-turn on a narrow road, with a 53' trailer.

Did I mention my friend can be a little crazy?

Now imagine that sidewalk was mud and your friend blocked the road for an hour and a half.

As crazy as my friend can be, he does have enough sense not to drive a big rig into mud. That’s what his Jeep is for....

Surprising take away from that picture: Deere make diggers. Don’t think I’ve ever seen one before.
